How Jim
Got Here...

It’s 1999, and I work for a large financial services company based out of New York.

I’m arguing with my boss, Bill, my senior who has been in the business 32 years.

He wants me to sell a certain product the company is really pushing.

I don’t want to, because I know the product isn’t right for my client.

Our disagreement escalates, so we call one of the compliance attorneys in New York to find out who is right?

The attorney says, “Jim’s right.”

I can’t help myself, I’m gloating.

Bill stops on the way out of my office and says,

“Hey Jim, who pays for your nice office? Your assistant? Your computers? Your great parking spot?”

I say,
“The company does.”

So he says,
“Then, who do you think you should look out for?”

That night, I go home deeply disturbed about the implication that I should be looking out for the company, more than my client.

I vent to my wife, Mimi, who is brilliant,
strong, and supportive.

She says,

“Jim, you have to start
your own company.”
My real boss had spoken!
That’s the day we decided to start our advisory firm where the highest principle would be:

For as long as I can remember, I’ve always wanted to make a positive impact with my knowledge of mathematics and finance.

As a math teacher right out of college, I was passionately committed to the success of my students.

As a financial planner, that dedication was channeled into seeking financial success for each of my clients.

I’ve always cared about those I served as if they were my personal family members. In 1999, at a large financial services company in New York, that heart-centered client/advisor relationship was put to the test… and I was forced to make a bold decision.

Jim Dew, Advisor To The Entrepreneur®, is the CEO and Founder of Dew Wealth Management. Jim has twenty-seven years of experience building virtual family offices for entrepreneurs. He earned a BS in Mathematics from the University of Arizona and an MBA from Arizona State University. Jim is a Certified Financial Planner™, Chartered Financial Consultant®, and a Certified Private Wealth Advisor®. He has been a guest on podcasts like Entrepreneurs On Fire, Business Lunch, and The Ultimate Advisor. Founder & President of Dew Wealth Management

Mimi Dew is the President and Founder of Dew Wealth Management, The Entrepreneur’s Virtual Family Office® for elite entrepreneurs. It was her idea to start the firm in 1999 with her husband, Jim Dew. Mimi was a big part in creating Dew’s unique model that helps entrepreneurs build sustainable wealth. She is responsible for overseeing the financial activities, marketing, ensuring overall efficient operation of the firm, and creating positive team culture. Mimi has been featured on podcasts such as The Lucrative Society, League of Goddesses, and She Talks Business as well as presenting “The 5 Keys To A Thriving Relationship” at Genius Network. She is also featured in documentary series “Millionaire Within Her.”

Bryce Keffeler, CFP®, MBA, CLU®, ChFC®, CEPA®

Managing Partner

As Managing Partner at Dew Wealth, Bryce leads the firm’s day-to-day operations, driving innovation and excellence. With a track record of building and scaling both the advisory and investment consulting divisions, Bryce brings a wealth of expertise to Dew Wealth Management.

Before joining Dew Wealth, Bryce honed his skills in financial planning & analysis (FP&A) and mergers & acquisitions (M&A) as a Senior Business Analyst at Intel Corporation.

Bryce holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Entrepreneurship with Honors from the University of Arizona and an MBA from Arizona State University. He is a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP), Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC), Certified Exit Planning Advisor® (CEPA), and Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU).

A native Arizonan, Bryce has deep roots in the valley, with most of his immediate family residing nearby. He is passionate about spending quality time with his twin boys, Aiden and Brooks, and his wife Leann. When he’s not at work, Bryce stays active by biking, working out, or walking their border collie, Ellie.

Bryce grew up the son of an entrepreneur. This combined with his professional experiences uniquely position him to understand and support the ambitions of successful entrepreneurs.

Justin E. Crawford

Chief Operating Officer

Justin joins Dew Wealth Management on the heels of an extensive career helping early-to-mid-stage firms scale. He established his reputation as a “systems guy” while working as the COO for one of the 3 largest international shipping companies in the world during the same 13-year period when he served as a logistics officer in the Navy.

Since leaving the world of international shipping, Justin has established a reputation as an attorney, international bestselling author, and seasoned COO who has been featured in over 300 major media outlets from CNBC and network television interviews to Forbes, Fast Company, and many other publications. Among his many accolades, he has built 3 multi-million-dollar businesses from the ground up and helped his last company scale from 15 employees to 150 before leaving them to help Dew Wealth Management engage in a similar journey. He has a Six-Sigma certification in Lean Management and his collegiate alma maters include a federal academy (to which he was nominated by Senator John McCain), a top-tier law school (where he graduated cum laude), and several of NYU’s campuses, where he studied tax law, business, and entrepreneurship.

Outside of work, Justin enjoys tennis and weightlifting as fun endorphin-maximizing activities. Justin and his wife Amy keep very busy raising their 4 adopted daughters, who joined their family in 2015 from the Pennsylvania foster system.

Bryan Stobb, CFP®, MBA, CIMA®

Director of Investments

Bryan’s love for exploring creative investment solutions led him to Dew Wealth after 10+ years industry experience as a Senior Wealth Advisor and Portfolio Manager. His deep technical expertise, attention to detail, and ability to simplify the complex make him the perfect resource for an entrepreneur’s uniquely complex portfolio management needs.

Bryan has studied at Mount Mercy University, Yale School of Management, and Indiana Wesleyan University where he received an MBA with an emphasis in Personal Financial Planning. Additionally, he holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and Certified Investment Management Analyst® designations.

Bryan is an active member of the Cedar Rapids (Iowa) community, where he resides. He currently serves as the President of the Board of Directors for the Cedar Valley Habitat for Humanity, Board Member for the Cedar Rapids Opera Theatre, and Committee Member for the local chapter of the Boys and Girls Club. When not working or volunteering, Bryan can be found spending time outdoors with his wife (Kelly), daughter (Avery Jane), son (Harvey) and dog (Charlie).

Santiago Rosas

Private Market Investment Analyst

Santiago joins Dew Wealth Management after working as a financial analyst servicing large Financial Advisors. Before embarking on his finance career, Santiago served in the United States Marine Corps as an Unmanned Aircraft Pilot. During service, Santiago served two tours in support of Operation Enduring Freedom where he was awarded the Naval Achievement Medal and the Presidential Unit Commendation. His commitment to service extended beyond the military, as he continued to work with Unmanned Aircraft with the Department of Defense and the State Department, providing support to foreign militaries.

Santiago is an alumnus of Arizona State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Information Systems with a minor in finance. A Miami native, Santiago now calls Phoenix, Arizona, his home. Beyond his professional pursuits, he maintains an active and adventurous lifestyle. Santiago is passionate about fitness, enjoys participating in sports, and has a love for travel. His adventures have taken him as far as South America, where he learned the Spanish language while living abroad.

Nate Birkholz, JD

Senior Advisor

Nate joins Dew Wealth Management with over 20 years experience helping business owners create wealth and preserve it for later generations. His experience as an attorney, working for public accounting, in financial planning, and implementing complex trust strategies, provides a unique perspective on the various issues that impact wealth management. Nate holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy from Minnesota State University and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Nebraska College of Law.

Away from the office, Nate is an active volunteer as an executive coach for nonprofit Christian ministries and serves as executive director of a select youth soccer club. Nate has been married to Sara for over 25 years. They have a college aged daughter, Salem, and high school aged son, Foster. Cabin vacations and a lot of soccer are the preferred family activities!

Ryan Cox, CFP®, EA, CEPA®

Senior Advisor

Ryan joins Dew Wealth Management after several years as a financial advisor specializing in planning for high-net-worth entrepreneurs. As an Advisor, he loves being the quarterback of the entrepreneur’s team and dealing with all the wealth complexities of the entrepreneur.

Ryan graduated with Bachelor of Science degrees in Finance & Business Management from Northern Arizona University. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and an Enrolled Agent (EA).

Ryan and his wife, Kailea, relocated from Orange County, CA. They love to hang out with their dog Leo. They spend their free time with family and friends, hanging out in the pool, and exploring new restaurants. Ryan is an avid golfer who loves to explore new golf courses.

Ryan Miller

Lead Advisor

Ryan joins Dew Wealth Management with an excitement to reconnect and specialize in working with entrepreneur clients. He enjoys the complexities and rewards that come with managing the Virtual Family Offices for these entrepreneurs.

After receiving his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Missouri-St. Louis in 2008, Ryan spent his earlier career advising people of nearly all generations and levels of wealth. Ryan is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and ACCREDITED INVESTMENT FIDICUIARY®.

Feeling the pull to return home, Ryan and his wife, Carey, moved their family back to Indiana where they have three wonderful children. Outside of the office, Ryan enjoys playing with his kids, squeezing in the occasional round of golf, and watching various sports and car races.

Drew Tingle, CFP®

Lead Advisor

Drew’s passion for coaching entrepreneurs through life’s financial complexities led him to join Dew Wealth Management after serving business owners in the fintech space and working as a Wealth Manager for a top 100 RIA firm. His attention to detail and goal-driven approach helps seamlessly coordinate a client’s financial journey through targeted tax, estate, insurance, and investment strategies.

Drew graduated from Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Finance. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.

Outside of the office, you’ll find Drew volunteering for non-profit organizations in the St. Louis community, spending time outdoors with family and friends, traveling, testing a new recipe, or relaxing with his cat, Spencer.

Andrew Majd, CFP®

Lead Advisor

Andrew joins Dew Wealth Management as an Associate Advisor after previous experience working for a large investment bank and RIA firm. He looks to use his past experience and skills to help deliver an exceptional experience for entrepreneur clients at Dew Wealth.

Andrew graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelors of Science in Finance from the W.P. Carey School of Business. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™.

Andrew is from Laguna Beach, CA. He moved out to Arizona to attend ASU where he found his true passion in financial planning and wealth management. Out of the office, you can find Andrew watching almost any sports game, spending time in the gym, or taking a quick trip to the beach.

Grant Giardino, CFP®

Lead Advisor

Grant joins Dew Wealth Management after working as a Financial Planner at a top 100 RIA firm. He values building deep relationships with clients to discover what is most important to them and their families. Grant loves dealing with all the wealth complexities that arise when working with entrepreneurs and helping to create plans to accomplish their goals.

Grant graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science in Personal Financial Planning. During his time at Kansas State, he was involved in the Financial Planning Association and participated in the K-State Launch Entrepreneurship Competition. He also had the opportunity to work under a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ while attending school. Grant is currently a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® candidate (passing the exam in March of 2022).

Outside of work, you can find Grant at the Lake of the Ozarks, following the St. Louis Cardinals and Blues, spending time with his family and friends, and looking at new places for travel. He enjoys getting involved in the St. Louis Community and is an avid supporter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Carter Bennett, CFP®, MBA

Lead Advisor

Carter loves helping entrepreneurs and believes it is one of the reasons he is on this planet. He is a Certified Financial Planner (CFPTM) and enrolled agent. He also loves being involved in his church, training jiu jitsu, reading about Christendom and watching Quentin Tarantino movies.

Nick West, CFP®​​

Nick joins Dew Wealth Management as an Associate Advisor after previous experience working with entrepreneurs at an RIA firm. He has a passion for all things financial planning and seeks to make the complex, simple. Nick graduated from Towson University with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Financial Planning, while receiving the honors of Cum Laude.

Nick was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. He and his wife are high school sweethearts. Outside of work, you may find Nick playing a disc golf course or spending some time in the great outdoors with his family.

Sarah Mendoza, CFP®

Advisor

Sarah joins Dew Wealth Management after starting her career in Texas as an Analyst for a local RIA firm. As an Analyst, she assisted with the family office initiatives such as reviewing pro-forma models, performing due-diligence, and guiding cost analysis. She is a Certified Financial Planner™.

Sarah graduated from The University of Texas Permian Basin with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance with a certificate in Energy Business. She was also a collegiate, full scholarship swimmer where she was the captain of the women’s swim team.

Outside of work, Sarah is passionate about spending her time volunteering with the youth group at her local parish, country dancing, exercising, game nights with family, or grabbing a cup of coffee with friends.

Preston Weaver, CFP®, EA

Advisor

Preston joins Dew Wealth after spending most of his early career working with boutique wealth management firms. He has a passion for planning strategies and client communication.

Preston graduated with a Bachelors and Masters of Science in Personal Financial Planning from Texas Tech University. He obtained the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation in 2018 and became an Enrolled Agent with the IRS in 2023.

Preston is an East Texas native and resides in Austin. He is a history, fishing, and outdoors enthusiast! Outside of the office, you will often find him in his fishing kayak listening to a history podcast, spending quality time with his fiancé Madyson, or walking his rescue dog, Marigold.

Kolton Quitno, CFP®

Advisor

Kolton joins Dew Wealth Management after beginning his career as a financial associate for high net worth clients at The Vanguard Group. His knowledge in the areas of investment, trust, and estate planning will be a great asset for clients at Dew. His passion lies in seeing the big picture and turning problems into opportunities.

Kolton graduated from Grand Canyon University with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and a minor in Finance and Economics. Kolton is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and a Wealth Management Specialist℠.

Kolton was born and raised in Phoenix. He met his wife, Shay, at GCU after she left Indiana to attend school in warmer weather. They got married on June 5th, 2021. Outside of the office, Kolton loves to spend time with his wife and family, hit the gym, and go hiking in the mountains.

Stephen Mandracchia, CFP®, EA

Stephen joins Dew Wealth Management as an Advisor after gaining valuable experience working with retired business owners and executives at an RIA firm. Following his successful completion of the CFP® exam, Stephen decided to focus his expertise on intricate financial planning for business owners. Stephen was born in Arizona but grew up in a small town in Michoacán, México. He moved back to Arizona in 2011 and graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Literature and Language. Stephen became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ in 2022. Outside of work, Stephen enjoys staying active with his wife, Shelby, chasing around his son Titus, and going to their local church with friends and family. When he has a minute to spare, you might catch him pretending to be Travis Barker on the drums or challenging opponents on chess.com.

Justin joins Dew Wealth Management as an Advisor after beginning his career as a Financial Consultant for a financial company in Michigan. His skills include: investments, financial planning, financial analysis, compliance and mergers and acquisitions.

Justin graduated from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a double major in Finance and Management.

Justin was born and raised in Wyandotte, Michigan. Outside of work, you may find Justin snowboarding, golfing, fishing or at the racetrack. He is also a wine enthusiast.

Connor Ruth, CFP®

Associate Advisor

Connor joins Dew Wealth after beginning his career at a boutique firm based in Omaha, Nebraska. He attended the University of Nebraska, where he was a member of the Husker football team. After graduating with a degree in Business Administration, Connor went on to obtain his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® designation and is eager to use this experience and knowledge to serve entrepreneurs at Dew Wealth.

Away from the office, Connor enjoys spending his time with friends and family, going to the lake, working out, and attending sporting events.

Bryce Thompson

Associate Advisor

Bryce joins Dew Wealth Management as an Associate Advisor after starting his career as a Financial Planning Analyst at a small RIA firm in Richmond, VA, where he helped clients reach their personal and financial goals. He has a passion for serving his community through strong relationships and problem-solving.

As part of a military family, Bryce spent time in California and Germany before moving to Virginia in 2008. He graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Science in Business with a focus in Financial Planning and became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ in 2023.

Bryce lives in Knightdale, North Carolina with his fiancé Hannah and their sweet-hearted black lab, Georgia. Outside of work, Bryce enjoys fishing, golfing, and exploring local restaurants and breweries.

Shaundra Patterson

Paraplanner

Shaundra, who goes by Shaun, joins Dew Wealth Management after beginning her career as an associate financial planner for a small RIA firm where she helped young professionals and retirees. Her knowledge in the areas of tax planning, retirement planning, and financial planning software will be a great asset for clients at Dew. Her passion lies in serving others through building relationships and being solution oriented.

Shaun graduated from Southern New Hampshire University with a Master of Science in Accounting. She intends to expand her skills and expertise by becoming a Certified Financial Planner™.

Shaun was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. Outside of the office, Shaun loves to spend time with her friends and family, travel, watch basketball as well as Alabama Football and read personal development books.

Andrés Plashal

Marketing Analyst

Andrés joins Dew Wealth Management after spending the past 20+ years refining and operating his marketing intelligence agency. His expertise spans marketing, analytics, and design. As an accomplished entrepreneur and marketing specialist, Andrés drives business growth and engagement through data-driven campaigns that deliver compelling results.

He brings numerous credentials to the role, including a Bachelor’s in Marketing from Columbia College Chicago, a certification as a Behavioral Data Analyst from the Gies College of Business, University of Illinois. As an entrepreneur, he brings a certification as a Google Marketing Cloud Partner and Amazon Business Partner. Guided by a philosophy that quiet confidence and positive attitudes are the secret sauce for success, AndrĂ©s leads marketing initiatives with vision and creative passion.

Born in Santiago, Chile, grew up in Northern Virginia, spent 20 years in Chicago, and now lives in Pittsburgh. Andrés enjoys packing and moving his family all around; he enjoys off-line by restoring furniture and spending time with his family and two cats.

Sean joins Dew Wealth Management after working in the international shipping sector, where he worked as an accountant and, later, operations auditor for one of the world’s largest shipping companies. After nearly two decades, he shifted away from the large global corporate environment to work for a small coaching startup in the legal sector, developing an interest in developing systems and workflows.

He lives in upstate New York with his wife of 24 years and two sons. When he’s not working, Sean enjoys spending time with his family and their two dogs, exercising, cooking, woodworking, gardening, listening to jazz music, and reading.

Jenny Casquejo

Project Coordinator

Jenny joins Dew Wealth Management after prior experience working as an Administrative Assistant. She is a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)® professional and volunteers for the local PMI chapter.

You can find Jenny running, drinking coffee, or hanging out with her rescue dog Tripp Harvey outside of work.

Rachel Meemken

Director of Client Services

Rachel began her career with Dew Wealth Management in 2002. She manages client services for the firm. Rachel’s character, integrity, attention to detail, and work ethic are a true asset to the firm. Her solid relationships with Dew Wealth clients are a true indication of her dedication to providing outstanding customer service. Before joining Dew Wealth, Rachel worked for AZ Wholesale/QDI as assistant to the president for several years. Her many years of experience and office skills were a perfect combination to bring to Dew Wealth Management.

Rachel is an avid reader, enjoys NFL football, and computer games. She lives in Phoenix with special cats Mr. Peanut and Little Debbie.

Hunter Fisher

HR Coordinator

Hunter joined Dew Wealth Management after working as a Recruiter specifically for fractional executive leadership at How to Manage a Small Law Firm. After months of study, Hunter became Dew’s HR Coordinator after earning the Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional Certification (SHRM-CP) — one of the highest standards of excellence for HR professionals. 

He has experience in different recruiting styles for high-level positions, as well as in sales and administrative tasks. One of his core strengths is his ability to quickly form genuine relationships with the motivation of seeing others succeed.

Hunter graduated from Houghton University with a bachelor’s in music theory and composition and went on to get his master’s from West Chester University of Pennsylvania in the same. So, it goes without saying, Hunter is also an active musician and published composer, something he’s passionate about doing outside the office.

Hunter and his husband, Eddie, live outside of Philadelphia, PA with their two cats, Richard and Lucy, who continually test their patience every day (but they’re really cute).

Beatrice Levicoff

Recruiting Assistant

Beatrice joins Dew Wealth Management with experience in customer service, retail management and education. Beatrice’s core strength is making strong connections with everyone she meets and is excited to use these skills at DWM. She graduated from Temple University with a bachelor’s in Vocal Performance and is an avid musician and performer. Beatrice continues to perform and teach around southeastern Pennsylvania outside the office.

Beatrice and her husband, Alex, live in Lancaster, PA with their long-haired dachshund, Daisy. When she’s not performing, working, or teaching, she enjoys cooking, trying new restaurants, and going to the beach!

Nellie Jess

Office Operations Manager

Nellie joins Dew Wealth Management after starting her career in Human Resources/Payroll and later, moved into the financial field. Her honesty, integrity, and ability to maintain privacy are values that align with Dew Wealth.

Nellie was born in Nebraska and then moved to Phoenix in 1990 to attend high school and then college. She enjoys being an Arizonian, but her heart will always be as a Husker.

Nellie values her time with her loved ones! She and her husband have successfully raised six amazing children, 4 boys and 2 girls who live in Arizona. Along with family time, she enjoys hiking, traveling, baking, watching movies and spending time with every animal she has adopted or meets.

Robyn Schanafelt

Executive Assistant to Mimi Dew

Robyn started her career working in public mental health. She has spent the last 13 years working in accounting, handling payables, receivables and all office management functions.

Robyn is a native Arizonan and a graduate of the University of Arizona. She has been married to her husband Bryan for over 25 years. Together, they have 3 great kids and 2 dogs.

In her free time, Robyn enjoys walking, hiking, pickleball and reading. She and her family enjoy watching sports and spending time outdoors.

Katie Kuntz

Communications Specialist

Katie joins Dew Wealth Management with a diverse background in graphic design, public relations, and digital marketing, specializing in crafting brand identities for small businesses that are both unique to their mission and reflective of their core values.

She refined her creative and strategic skills at a global public relations firm, contributing to a wide range of projects including photography, videography, animation, and designing marketing assets for high-profile clients. During this time, Katie also created an annual series of infographics for a leading provider of recovery services for global enterprises, winning the year’s title for “Best Infographic” at the PR News’ Social Media Awards.

Katie began her studies in photography and film at Syracuse University before earning her bachelor’s degree in Public Relations & Strategic Communications from Temple University.

Outside of work, Katie enjoys spending time with her family, experimenting with 4D animation, and exploring thought-provoking topics like quantum mechanics. She’s also an avid fan of history documentaries, spontaneous travel, and music festivals.

Trent Bickley

Marketing Project Manager

Trent joins Dew Wealth Management after working with one of the world’s largest financial services companies, holding various roles in operations, financial planning & analysis, and project management. As a valued member of the team, he built a strong reputation for developing process improvements and helping lead strategic initiatives.  

He graduated from Wheaton College (IL) with a bachelor’s in economics and then went on to get earn his master’s in the same from Drexel University (PA).

Outside of work, Trent enjoys golfing, playing board games, and going to Philadelphia Union games with friends.
